I couldn't of a better title to suit my mood.

Here's the bottom line: My parents disapprove of me having a boyfriend.

Well, they don't tell me directly that they hate it, but it's kinda obvious from what they tell me:

*I'm-your-mom-and-I-know-everything tone* "You're too young, etc." --> I may be 15 by I have a brain and I use it. They think I'm too young because they didn't have a boyfriend of girlfriend at 15. Well, I may be young but I know what's right from wrong.

*accusing tone* "You always put your boyfriend first before your studies." --> Oh yeah, if I put him first then why the f*** would I be in the first section and in Advanced Placement Class?

*mocking tone* "Do you think your little 'boyfriend' really loves you?" --> Uhm hello? Even if you are my parents doesn't mean you know what's been going on with my life!

And the finale:

*sarcastic and You-have-committed-a-mortal-sin tone* "Why do you have a boyfriend at this age? Will you stop your studies?" --> WTF?! Does "boyfriend" equate to pregnancy or something?! I HAVE BRAINS AND MORALS! This is what I hate most about my dad. He always, ALWAYS stereotypes me. He thinks I do what other teenagers are doing and that I'm always "trying hard to get in the know." I'm their daughter and they don't effing trust me. That effing sucks.


You'd think they being my parents they would support me in everything but NOOOOO... They DO support me in a lot of things but they don't support me having a boyfriend. Why is that so bad? It's not like we're doing anything wrong. We both value our studies and we're both smart. We RARELY go on dates (the last time we went on one was on March 2009), we avoid what's wrong even if it's 'in', and we study hard. And we may as well be role models for teenage couples but, obviously, my parents don't see that.


I won't break up with my boyfriend because first of all: my parents didn't actually order me to split up with him. Second, he's everything I want in a guy. Third, we complement each other. Fourth, I love him.


It really, really, really makes me depressed when my parents start prejudicing me. I try SO hard to be good and they just keep on noticing the bad things, and never the good ones.


They start accusing and insulting me even when I'm just quietly facing the computer.
